This Jesus is more real than anyone else bullshit just makes me wince at the stupidity, especially when they start trying to make him divine.

Exactly. omg nothing pisses me off more than than theist praying for something and if it comes true it's a miricale if not it's either one of two things. It's God's will wich is truly messed up. or it's mans error.

Actually believing that their (long refuted) philosophical arguments for the existence of 'God' should be convincing to anyone with a working brain cell.
You know the list: Kalam, TAG, ontological...
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Disrespectfully thanking "god" when it was the efforts of man that ended their tribulation, whatever the cause.
For example:
A Muslim thanks Allah when the cardiovascular surgeon saves him/her from dying of a heart attack.
A Jew thanks Yahweh when medical scientists develop a new treatment/drug to save him/her from a life-threatening infectious agent.
A Hindu thanks Shiva or whatever when firefighters save him/her from a burning building.
A Christian thanks God/Jesus when rescuers save miners from a collapsed shaft.

Annoying but easily refuted. You can pray to a teapot but the outcome would be the same.
