I just found the clip of this. Jesus fucking Christ. Just when you think Trump couldn't be more dangerously stupid than he is.
This is like bursting into the room where a grand jury is investigating you for murder and committing a murder.

I found her testimony very powerful. Too bad his minions have their heels dug in way too far at this point. Trump isn’t going anywhere.

As toxic as Twitter is (so much that Disney, which seems to be on a quest to own EVERY piece of intellectual property they can, decided against buying it recently), I'm legitimately surprised that I can't find something like that happening IRL. Harrassment, inciting violence, and driving people to suicide, sure, but nothing like #deathto.

Sadly, I don't think he is either. His rabid followers, lackeys, and bootlickers aren't going to admit they are wrong any more than he is. Eventually he will be gone but this country won't ever recover from the damage left. I can't, at this point, think of anything he can say or do that will finally be the line crossed. Every time I think 'this is it, this is the thing that brings him down' it's a matter of minutes before he does something equally reprehensible and the previous thing is mostly forgotten.

He's draining the swamp! Just watch that stuff swirl as he goes down the drain.

Sadly, I agree.
If you are a person of good conscience, how can you possibly defend Trump? His guilt is so obvious, even a fool can see it. The sad fact is that we are a country run in large part by human garbage. They don't care that the head of the executive branch is a criminal. What a sad commentary on this "great" nation.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
As long as all we’re going to do is wag our fingers at the president, which is again all that has happened today, any president can be a dictator. Manafort, Cohen, Flynn, Gates, Papadopoulos, Stone - so they’re all criminals but Trump isn’t? Trump isn’t invincible but his opponents are cowards who worship the presidency.

Earlier this week, I talked with my therapist, and she mentioned knowing someone who's right wing and defends him mainly on the basis of "he's good for the economy." You know, the same shit Drich keeps chiming in when Trump seems to be prevailing. I pointed out the story of another head of state who maintained a huge level of popularity due in no small part to his helping fix the economy...
To be fair, Hitler did help Germany's economy recover, even though it was mostly down to A) his inheriting an economy that had tankedTWICE in the span of a decade and could thus go nowhere but up, B) discontinuing the payment of Germany's WW1 debt, a major contributing factor of said economy tankings, and C) wholesale looting of Jewish wealth.
...or maybe you'll have to reassess the whole "their conscience" thing.
