Even conservative talkers like Ben Shapiro don't deny anthropogenic global warming, yet alone do libertarians.

I don't think so, and I've read quite a bit about philosophy of science. The only case of scientists suppressing the evidence in recent history, as far as I know, has been Lysenkoism. And that was limited to one country and a short period of time. Not remotely like Nina Teicholz claims happens with nutritional science today.
Gae Bolga Wrote:that other scientists had already been pulling the fire alarm over. Can you point me to some actual nutritional scientist who agrees with Nina Teicholz? It seems to me that nutritional scientists don't even waste time to comment on her claims for about the same reason astronomers don't waste their precious time debunking Flat-Earthism or Geocentrism.

You can do your own homework.

Gotta admire your patience. Have you thought in opening a kindergarden?
On a side note, the vehans were here at the plant protesting to "stop eating animals" , "animal murder is not justified" etc. They usually are peaceful, the plant workers pay them no mind, but like another occurrence before, they took pictures of the truck drivers that were going to unload the pigs. That escalated fast and I was the supervisor, had to call the republican guards to tame the tempers. Bottom line, had to make a few more euros of extra time to write an incident report. -.-
The vegans almost got a can of whoopass from the drivers. The drivers themselves are not factory workers, they are just contracted to make a transport by the pig raisers. Taking picks of people just earning their keep to feed their children just about shows what a bunch of dimwitted kids they are.

In my experience, it's easier to address this issue with children than it is with adults.
With adults, there's an endless round of nutball whack-a-mole knowing that their position isn't actually dependent on any of those arguments in the first place, and that no amount of correcting their misapprehensions would or even could make a difference. Kids haven't had the time or access to build up that wall. My youngest girl, Momo, flirted with vegetarianism for awhile. It started out as a sort of idol mimicry thing with her older cousin, but she did have strong reservations against hurting animals. You could see the gears grinding in her head when we sat down to talk.
Do we kill animals? Yes.
Does it hurt? It can.
Do we have to hurt animals? No, but we often do.
That was enough for her, for awhile..at least.

Yeah, you now realize you were wrong when you said Nina Teicholz was probably right about nutrition, so you simply change the topic. I’ve made this thread specifically about the saturated fat controversy, to see if there are indeed convincing arguments against saturated fat leading to heart disease… and it seems to me more and more that there aren’t.

Is it someone else's problem that you're not interested in an answer to the question you asked?
Go do your own homework, or honestly, don't. No one cares. It won't be hard, I know this, because I had to look up Nina Teicholz. The info you want is right there, no digging required, it's how I know you never did any research of your own.
