This ain't rocket surgery, folks.
Exactly. But contraception has taken a back seat in the sex discussion these days.
In the 80's and 90's there was a huge campaign in Australia to promote safe sex in schools and the media.
It was aimed to prevent the spread of AIDs but those other issues u mentioned are equally as important and underline the importance of contraception.
But were do we see this conversation taking place these days? No where, and it really needs to be made a priority.
What often happens when this topic comes up... U get labelled a tradcon, a homophobe, etc just like on this thread.
Unless you are in a monogamous relationship it is irresponsible not to use contraception. I would almost call it immoral.
It becomes immoral if it leads to
"STDs, unplanned pregnancies, abortions, teen mums without the wherewithal to raise a child, and reduce the strain on social resources"
Do people agree with that?
Think about it. U are doing something that you know is risky, like driving at high speed. If u crash and someone gets killed u are guilty of manslaughter.
Is it immoral to drive fast? I'd say no that's reckless. It becomes immoral if there is harm to anyone or damage to anything.
True?
