Pope Voyeur the Confessor : "Ooooh, tell me the naughty bits again!"
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!
But if the Pope goes through sex change operation during his papacy, does he get to change his name?
Maybe I should save that question for EWTN and call them during one of their shows, since they probably know more.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
My "Papal name" would be, "Pope Getagrip Youdontneed Me".

Pope Joan. And I can still become pope, because the rcc won't un-catlick me any more. (March 13, 2020 at 4:53 pm)Editz Wrote: Ahhh yes, a...er..."lapsed Catholic" is it? So how does one become uncatholicised I wonder...at least it's not said to be literally inherited, like Jewishness. You can't any more. There used be a way, but after the website countmeout.ie managed to get 13,000 deconversions in a six month period in Ireland, they changed canon law. For the rcc the number of apparent members is far more important than the number of actual members (because it'd probably dip below 100,000,000 if they did a proper count).

That sucks..in a way...although how the change in policy came about is both hilarious and also surely profoundly embarrassing for the church so there is that. Only less than 1 in 13 "Catholics" are..er...real Catholics? Seems unlikely to me...
