Because Louis wasn't a saint when the city was founded.

I think you’ll find that he was (a lot of my Catholic education is still stuck in my brain).

A guy where we go to herd has a 2004(6?) covered HPX. Other than riding in it I don't know much.

I have a line on a very mint 98 with the 300 Kawasaki engine.

Anyone have any experience -good/bad - with these?

Nothing runs like a Deere...

When my son was playing football in HS I noticed that Gators were the go-to piece of machinery for the football teams to transport things into and out of the stadium, especially injured players.  They seem like they would be pretty handy.  Smaller than a pickup and able to make their way over unpaved terrain.  If you go with real John Deere and not one of the watered down versions sold in big box stores, it's probably a decent purchase.

It does not have a roll bar or a cab.

They cost about $1100.

But.

I do have a machine shop and MIG/TIG welders.

So I will be building one. The rollbar amd stabilizers will be far heavier than factory- to accomodate the crane arm I am going to build in..

Yup.. It is John Deere.. I am getting it from the former local Deere dealer who retired some years ago. This has been garaged it 's whole life... The paint on the floorboards is still good. It's as mint as you could hope for.. Very well maintained. Everything works as advertised.

$2800 (usd)

He liked me. Old guy. He was very impressed that I knew the drive system is called a Reeves Drive with a centrifugal clutch. When I said it - he looked at me funny and said "That's exactly right. I have never heard anyone say it. They always just call it a "snowmobile clutch".. ".

Accuracy counts.
