No, I'm pretty sure it's herd's mentality. In other words, the mentality of your herd (a group of pseudo-intellectual atheists). Your herd's mentality. If I were speaking more generally then it'd be herd mentality.

I'm not sure why a guy who doesn't know how to spell courtesy or how periods, commas, and question marks work is suddenly critiquing grammar and typos, but it's hilarious. Are you trolling?

Because we're not talking about atheism, we're talking about the beginning of the universe, especially your not even wrong version of it.

I was talking about atheism. It's in my original post. Go check it out.

You got a lotta self-hate going there Jebusboy....

I suggest you find a different hobby.

I never said it was an insult. I suggest you read more books to improve your reading comprehension, Mr. pseudo-intellectual.

Fair enough, but how about you answer the questions posed to you ?

I've been posed many questions and I've answered all of the substantial ones. Which question are you referring to?

Quote:Because we're talking about all physicality. A physical reality producing all physical reality is a logical contradiction.

1) What do mean when you say producing a physical reality ?

2) Do you believe everything material must have a creator if so, how do you know this ?

Out of interest, what qualifications do you have on these subjects ?

In order to "have an amount of knowledge" the "being" must have had some experience, a way to gain that knowledge, a way to process that knowledge and experience time for all of those aspects.

We know of one way those attributes can be attained and that is to exist in a physical universe and experience time with interactions with other agencies and indeed to be able to process it would have had to have evolved from a lesser being that had less ability to process information....

And where did god get all the stuff?
How did it do it?

Can you see where I'm going with this..

Saying god did it raises many questions and answers none.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

What do you know about the universe, multiverse to be able to say this ?

Sure you can make up a description of a god and describe it in anyway you want, where you fail is connecting a god in any necessary way to these things.

This is a logically incoherent question. Nothing is not anything or the negation of all being. There wouldn't be anything to examine.

Quote:No? OK then how did you determine what absolutely nothing can or cannot do? Or what properties it may or may not have?

Because nothing is NOT anything. It's a logical contradiction to say not anything possesses properties.

Then your argument is absurd. You are claiming to know with certainty what this "nothing" is or is not capable of. I want to know how it is that you made such a determination. I want the basis upon which you assessed that.

And your best answer is that you have not a foggiest notion.

Religion in a nutshell. Or possibly a nutjob.

Sure. Start from square one. Just the basics.

Can you demonstrate that your god or any god exists?

The honest answer is that you cannot, but I am interested to see your answer, because I am certain that you have none.

Thus it is interesting to see what fantasy you will invent.

Knock yourself out.

I Don't know what's more depressing, the fact that the Church can still hold such a grip on people's psyche's or that people can be so stupid. Yes I know childhood indoctrination is a powerful thing but transubstantiation? The triune god? Three day old petrifying corpses being brought back to life?

The great mystery to me is how did homo sapiens make it this far with so many monkeys on our backs.

I think because world is so tragic and depressing that people often embrace nightmare scenarios of afterlife torture and other magical stuff just to keep on living and dont kill themselves or binge drink.
