Life didn't go on for the people murdered by those who were sworn to serve and protect.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Whats a little bit of police brutality in trade, right? Guess that's just how that works, can't have one without the other. Perhaps you'd think otherwise if it were you, or someone you loved.
Then again, maybe you wouldn't.

I like to consider all sides of an issue. We need to punish bad cops and reward good ones.

You want to consider the other side of the issue of whether or not there should be police brutality? What other side?

You're trying to make it look like it's rampant and I don't agree with you. Like I said, bad cops need to be punished. I happen to think most cops are good.

It is rampant and worst still it's institutional and cultural .Like alot of issues American policing has , And no one gives a damn what you think .

There is no two sides on this issue and it's not an issue of good and bad cops it's an issue of a diseased system

Well, as long as it's not rampant... lol.
What's the problem, having trouble spouting the party line with enthusiasm? Maybe you should listen to your inner american when you say this silly shit.

Cops can do more harm than good, but I don't believe that police brutality is pervasive. The number of police vs incidents of brutality don't bear that out. Sure we need to work to end police brutality. Let's go for it, but we must not destroy an essential institution In the process.
