RE: Random Thoughts
Provert, here! I'm an expert at it.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

I ended up buying four packs of different varies of donuts and I've already eaten one whole pack. Jesus.

I'm being facetious, of course. Not about the buying so many donuts .... but about the 'Jesus' part. I am quite content with my gluttony. Zero regrets.

The awkward moment where you find out that there's a reason some horrific scenes are more effective when you don't see the brutality on screen:

Well, that ear is clearly fake. Good thing Tarantino had the sense to pan away when the ear was actually being cut, because if that deleted scene from the Blu-Ray was in the film proper, it'd be something everyone was talking about because it was so clearly fake and not because it was shocking.

Shouldn’t women in the apocalypse have hairy legs?

And pits. When society collapses around you and life has become a scramble to survive, the stock of Lady Gillettes is going to run out pretty quickly.

I would have had to go three times to achieve that.
What about length though? :-)

I don't care if a woman has hairy armpits or legs.
I think it's good actually.
They can fuck the make up off too. :-)

Next end of the world movie you watch note - the men have at most 3 days of beard growth.

Just read an article about mindfulness walking on positivepsychology.com. It's a new perspective that I haven't thought about before. It's similar to the stationary analog of mindfulness practice, in being aware of your body and immediate surroundings, with the added benefit of exercise.

For me, walking has always been where my mind and body feel most at ease and most connected and most whole and least divisible.

If one is too still one is likely to think too much.

If one moves too quickly one is likely to get out of breath and be more focussed on the mind than the body.

Walking is the perfect balance.

Imagine how wonderful it would be to feel like you're walking mindfully even when you're not walking at all?

I thought George R.R. Martin was cruel for the way he killed his characters, but the man has nothing on the writers of the Van Helsing television show and the death at the end of episode three of season two.
