[Serious] The black man as a slave to the white man's god
#1
The black man as a slave to the white man's god
Some black people like to go on and on, conspiratorially, regarding flimsy connections of black men being modern slaves to what they have a bias against.

Lets be honest, however.

If the black man is a slave to anything in today's world, it is Christianity. Historically, the black man has no origin ties to the white man's god or the white man's dogma. In fact, Christianity and white man's god was forced upon the black men via southern American slavery. The black man has discarded the shackles of Victorian slavery yet he still remains a slave to the white man's god. Why? Clearly, the indoctrination worked, and thus the black man will never truly be free of slavery so long as he continues to believe in a god that was viciously thrust upon him.

Grow up, black people. If you're a slave of anything anymore, have the intellectual honesty to admit that its Christianity. So long as you stay shackled to such a backwards belief system, you'll never truly be free.

White people don't get to lecture black people any more. We don't tell them what to believe.

They can think for themselves, and join whatever religion they want.

The author of the above book was a black Christian. In case anyone is interested in the actual opinions of actual black people, his writing would be a good place to begin.

Or if you just want to tell black people what to think, because you are superior, there's no reason to find out about that.

At work.

Wow.

Two posts. Two conversations.

I think the only thing linking Bell's and Deese's two posts are some words in common.

Fek English is a funny old language, in'it?

I'm not forgetting them.

I'm very aware that among black people there is a huge variety of opinion and belief.

I also think that black people have brains, and are capable of making up their own minds about things, without being told what to do by random white people.

I see no reason to think that your opinion on religion is superior to that of many black people's.

You are correct, my opinion is of little importance.

Reason and history, on the other hand, dictates that the black Christian is indeed a slave to the Caucasian concept of god and religion. That cannot be denied. They are free to remain slaves shackled to the Christian belief or they can set themselves free by logically understanding precisely from whence their belief stems.

It can be denied, and has been denied by black Christians.

If you think your knowledge of Christianity among black Christians is superior to that of Dr. Cone, I look forward to your explanation of why he is wrong.

Denied through ill logic, certainly, because if theists could be reasoned with there would be no theists.
