I'll just look for out takes on Mr. Skin.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
Director's last name is Pontecorvo, I wonder if he is related to Gillo Pontecorvo?
Anyway, they're making a movie that nobody will watch. Film makers probably made it to earn some money so they can pay their bills by taking it from gullible Christians investors by invoking their fate how Virgin Mary will make this movie into a hit and they'll make their investment ten times over. And if it still bothers you, maybe you could find a silver lining, like when they make movies they usually make porn parodies of those movies, and who knows, maybe Fatima gets a gay porn parody and it will definitely have a scene where Mary fucks Jesus in Heaven while Joseph watches.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
How the hell they ever conned Sonja Braga and Harvey Keitel to appear in this, I’ll never know.

At least Harvey Keitel seems to equate depth and gravitas with having his sails billowed by every whiff of crank and cant.
IMDB got their description wrong.
It should read, "Based on hysterical events". Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" Well, they (Catholics) once got Martin Sheen and Michael York to appear in a similar movie about another Marian apparition in Bosnia - God works in mysterious ways called: "Pay them and they will come."

As if there are any actual miracles.
