The last time I went to a cinema, the man in front of me had his dog seated next to him. Oddly enough, the animal appeared to be thoroughly engrossed in the film.
When the lights came up, I caught the man's eye and told him, 'I was impressed with how much your dog seemed to enjoy the movie.'
'So was I,' the man said. 'He hated the book.'
