Daily conspiracy
RE: Daily conspiracy
Regarding conspiracy theories, there is always the classic one that 'vaccines cause autism'. My response is always something like: "That isn't true, but even if it was, is autism actually a problem?".

Right now an annoying one is antivaxxers being anti-vaccines with regards to COVID-19 simply because some of the vaccines are less old-school and work differently. Because, apparently, not all of them involve small doses of the virus. Some work using something called 'gene therapy' or something. I have no idea if that is true or if it's just more conspiracy theorist bullshit. But even if it is true I trust the experts on this one. I don't trust the wackos on this one. Or on any one.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Rice University is having Jacques Vallee, Leslie Kean, and Whitley Streiber speaking at their paranormal conference and call it "scholarship."

Quote:In 2021, the U.S. government released a preliminary report on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), more commonly known as UFOs, following decades of denial and disinformation regarding the existence and investigation of these unexplained experiences.
[And who "better" to talk about it than a bunch of snake oil salesmen]

RE: Daily conspiracy
An old falsehood resurfaces: that Justin Trudeau is Fidel Castro’s son.

Misinformation has been a key weapon wielded by Canada’s protest movement, and critics of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have returned to one simmering falsehood: that Mr. Trudeau is the love child of the former Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

The claim that the Canadian prime minister is Mr. Castro’s “illegitimate son” was also amplified by Tucker Carlson in an opinion piece posted on Fox News’s website on Friday.

Some proponents of the falsehood have pointed to a striking resemblance between Mr. Castro and Mr. Trudeau. But the facts don’t add up, and the Canadian government has also previously denied the contention.

The ever changing conspiracy theory.
I believe that not a day goes past without some people in the world conspiring to change the world in some way they just can't help themselves and a lot of it has to be adapted over time. In fact the people I worry about are the people who are not conspiring in some way to change the world. Do we really want to keep the world in a state of poor health and over extinction.

The anthropologist, Michael Masters, claims that UFOs are time machines and aliens are humans from the future.

Quote:if we look at the craft, if we look at the technology that has been confirmed by the Pentagon here in the United States and other countries throughout the world, other governments have been discussing this and talking about it and have evidence for the existence of these craft, the question is, who are they and what's inside. And there's a lot of indications that if these reports of the beings are in fact real, that they are likely to be hominin, they're likely to be us. They're constantly reported being upright walking, having bilateral symmetry, same characteristics on the left and right side, five digits on each hand, on each foot. They have bigger eyes, bigger forehead, smaller faces, – all of these traits are very hominin, and they're very indicative of our specific clade within the phylogenetic tree of life. And if we look at all of these traits in the context of continued human evolution over the last six to eight million years, since we became upright-walking hominins, you can kind of connect the dots and see how they may just simply be us from a future time coming back into the study of their own past.
