Been working on this for a while and recently posted it as a facebook page. There're about 3000 words of explanatory text for the "5 Laws of CFA" and why CFA at all. The "sex" bit is largely an attempt to appease/nullify the appeal of Islam/prevent terrorism and the oppression of women etc, not prudishness, just to nip that one in the bud. Enjoy, criticise, applaud, question - post your thoughts AF!

I'm still running with this - thought the admin would rather I didn't "clutter up" the forum with a second CFA thread so...anyway, theocratic facebook refused my request to advertise CFA because...well, they wouldn't say, basically, but I've heard it said before that they're very "pro religion" so...how to advertise?! Any ideas about how I might get the ball rolling with a vengeance, as it were? Budget - £1200...for now...

School STEM projects aren't definitively atheistic AFAICT...correct me if I'm wrong. In any case I prefer to promote atheism with CFA, that way there's actual meat on the bones. Beneficial, characterful, medicinal meat at that. Was it Freud who said you can't get rid of religion without replacing it with something....can't remember and google ain't helping...anyway, that kind of noise.

I used to post on Quora frequently. Because of their algorithm, I got tons of questions about atheism and atheists. Over and over, I explained that atheism is just the state of mind were you don't hold a belief that any God or gods is/are real; and atheists are people in that state of mind. There's nothing more to it, although atheists vary greatly in their degree of certainty.

Given a good set of rules for moral behavior, atheism adds nothing to them. It doesn't justifify them or make them better. And most atheists I know can't reasonably be described as 'people of faith' or 'crusaders' and many would actually object to those terms being applied to them. This idea, however noble, is a non-starter.
