Why are you answering questions with questions? Why are you lecturing us about not swallowing what the MSM feeds us hook, line, and sinker, when you swallowed all of the allegations against Hunter Biden in the NYP article without an ounce of skepticism simply because of the source it came from? No one here is claiming perfect, objective reporting from the media on either side, but you definitely seem to apply your standards for credulity differently depending on which “side” it comes from. That’s a “you” problem, not a “me” problem. 🤷♀️
Neither the Biden campaign nor Hunter came out to say that the emails were fake when the story came out. They remained silent. Why do you reckon that is? Why do you reckon that all of the serious people on the left got this right and held the same position I did (Glenn Greenwald, Jordan Chariton, Aaron Mate, Kyle Kulinski, Krystal Ball, and on and on)? Coincidence? Or they're just not shills and saw the obvious? If Ted Cruz is accused of something and he responds to that by going into hiding without addressing the situation, what is your takeaway from that likely going to be?

Track record and whether they appear to be a shill who has no principles. The people I named on the left (journalists and alt-media) are people that from years of watching and reading them, they appear to me to be principled, fairly consistent in those principles no matter which side of the aisle they are covering, and they genuinely appear to buy into what they are saying.
