Seriously, what are you smoking? The jury failed to convict anti-government militia members charged with hatching a plot against the state's Democratic leader. It's not a false flag FBI operation. It did have a few FBI agents who infiltrated the group not to carry out the operation but to monitor the group and stop them before they carry out their plans.

Do you have an up to date link saying that the FBI didn't come up with the idea to kidnap the governor, and fund it? A few FBI agents? They were mostly FBI agents. I can tell you have not read one article on this. Please stick to obsessing over National Enquirer junk like people who claim to communicate with aliens and bat boy, and leave the real news to others.

In the Michigan kidnapping case, at least a dozen confidential informants, as well as two or more undercover FBI agents, helped gather evidence against the 14 men who were charged.

More undercover people than real people involved. And to correct myself because my memory was slightly off since I hadn't read in depth about this in 8 months, there was chatter online about kidnapping the governor, but it was likely just shit talking and never would have come to fruition without the FBI organizing and funding it. That's what makes it a false flag. The FBI organized it. It was funded. And the arrests were announced a month before the Presidential election. Hmmm. Just a coincidence, or was this false flag meant to influence the election results like the "Hunter Biden's laptop is Russian disinfo" false flag disinfo campaign the CIA pulled off around the same time?

If there was a real plot, I would expect the FBI to get involved.  If they didn't, they wouldn't be doing their job.

If you have actual evidence that the FBI was the organizer of the plot, that would be useful.  It should result in firings or charges.  No?  You don't have that?

A pseudodocumentary called Rigged, about how Facebook allegedly helped rig the election against Trump, is being promoted on Facebook.

Quote:It is, obviously, a conspiracy theory–and a hypocritical one at that. The anti-Facebook movie is being promoted in part through Facebook ads and is being touted by candidates who are financing their campaigns through wealth connected to Facebook. … Zuckerberg has also gone out of his way to cultivate the political right, sometimes with help from mentor and board member [Peter] Thiel.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

From the link I posted earlier;

https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ken...ap-whitmer

Interviews, court records, and other documents reveal repeated instances of apparent lawbreaking by Stephen Robeson, who, while working with the government, identified and recruited potential targets in multiple states and who organized many of the events where prosecutors say the alleged kidnapping plan was hatched.

The FBI has long relied on undercover agents and confidential informants — civilians, some of them paid for their service — to infiltrate closed groups, from the Black Panthers to the Weather Underground. Officially, these agents and informants are supposed to blend in and report back, not to directly steer the group’s actions —

Robeson had first cooperated with local authorities on a motorcycle gang murder case in Wisconsin in the 1980s, and had done so on at least one other occasion in the 2000s.

Most recently, he was working for the FBI, identifying and recruiting potentially violent extremists on social media platforms. He urged people to attend gun rallies and other protest events, organized meetings in multiple states, and, some attendees say, used government funds to pay for their meals and hotel rooms. Prosecutors claim that one of those meetings, in Ohio in June 2020, was where the plot against Gov. Whitmer originated.

He also urged people to plan violent actions against elected officials and to acquire weapons and bomb-making materials. Some of those contacts say he called them nearly every day.

Chambers helped to oversee Dan, the Iraq War vet who was a confidential informant in the case. Dan infiltrated the Wolverine Watchmen, rose to become the group’s second-in-command, and, under the direction of his FBI handlers, repeatedly encouraged its members to attend trainings and activities where violent schemes were allegedly concocted.

From your article

Quote:Some even baselessly assert that the Michigan investigation was a test run for what they claim was a false flag operation conducted on Jan. 6.

So, even your source claims that your claims about the false flag are baseless. The guy may have been working sloppy but that doesn't mean that there is some conspiracy.

And FBI's tactics could be questioned but that doesn't mean that there is some conspiracy. A few years ago, I was listening to a Radiolab episode about some FBI operation where they look for people online who are talking about doing shady terrorist things, and then FBI agents infiltrate the group, organize everything, buy guns, and then they arrest those guys "simply" because they participated in it.

EDIT here is the link for the Radiolab episode

Your quote is a claim that is attributed to random "right-wing commentators". It has nothing to do with the Governor Whitmer situation or anything I've claimed, and you are conflating the two things in bad faith. I've not claimed that January 6 was a false flag. We're talking about the Governor Whitmer plot, not anything to do with January 6. People working with the FBI organized the Whitmer kidnapping plot, gave funding, recruited people to take part in the plot, urged people to acquire weapons and bomb making materials and supposedly called these people almost daily to keep the pressure on them. What it comes down to is, the FBI foiled a plot that they themselves organized. Do you understand what false flag means? I know the term is frowned upon in general because of 9/11 truther loons that use it so much, but false flags are a real thing. If you don't like the term, replace it with FBI setup then. We can go with that instead if you'd like. I'm glad we can at least agree that the FBI's tactics are highly questionable.
