Stupid things religious people say
RE: Stupid things religious people say
Ghouls. Even if it did take hard calls and guts to get a gods blessing on your land…which was itself a real thing….it’s still wholly outside the warrant of our government.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Coming this fall: A "Nephilim Anthropology" conference combining Bible giants, demons, Atlantis, UFOs, and "consciousness." Hugh Newman from Ancient Aliens and Andrew Gough from Forbidden History join Bible-thumpers who think Nephilim-demons possess homosexuals.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Pastor Jack Hibbs on Sunday blamed the teaching of evolution for a mass school shooting in Uvalde, Texas

"We teach kids in school, 'God's dead. He's not real. Evolution is true. You're nothing but an animal,'" the pastor complained. "And then we see them act up and we get upset that they don't act like angels. We tell them they're animals, go out there and be a good boy."

Hibbs also criticized lawmakers who have called for new gun control laws.

"We need to be unpacking that instead of this issue of the Second Amendment," he griped. "This is ridiculous. We need to talk about the heart rather than the Second Amendment!"

Catholic Exorcists Say They Are Overloaded With 'Possessed' People

A survey of 120 Italian exorcists by the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, a Vatican-approved university in Rome, found that they were overwhelmed by a growing number of "possessed" people. Researcher Giuseppe Frau said that some exorcists were seeing 30 to 50 cases a day.

There are 290 exorcists in Italy, the study said.

Participants in the Vatican university survey claimed that satanic possession could be distinguished by signs including vomiting, unusual physical strength and a sudden capacity to speak ancient languages such as Latin, Hebrew or Aramaic.

Pope Francis has endorsed the practice of exorcism and formally recognized the International Association of Exorcists in 2014. More recently, he said during a devotion in 2021 that "Christ's entire ministry is a struggle against the evil one in its many manifestations: healing from illnesses, exorcisms of the possessed, forgiveness of sins."

One of the many benefits of being an atheist: never becoming possessed.

I’ve always felt that an intensive course of psychiatric has a better chance of driving out demons than does an exorcism. Lower risk to the patient as well.

Pope Francis: Pornography is ‘a threat to public health’

“It should be denounced as a permanent attack on the dignity of men and women. It is not only a matter of protecting children — an urgent task of the authorities and all of us — but also of declaring pornography a threat to public health,” he told members of a family association network.

Quoting a 2017 speech he gave to a congress on child dignity online, the pope added that “it would be a serious illusion to think that a society in which abnormal consumption of sex on the web is rampant among adults is then capable of effectively protecting minors.”
