Look, I do understand your point, and I am well aware that Science avoids statements of certitude, but there are some things to which I give no credence at all: I am 100% certain the Tooth Fairy does not exist, and 100% certain Jesus never walked on water. I am not prepared to assign even the slightest degree of believability to such things.
Just a few hours ago I got a phone call from an Indian gentleman who said that several pieces of malware had infected my computer and he would like to help me fix the problem. I told him to get stuffed - because I was 100% certain that he was not telling the truth. Was I mistaken? I am 100% certain that I was not.
