The doj has informed trumps lawyers that they do not believe that team trump has returned all missing documents, and the focus of the criminal investigation, in part, will be determining what happened to them.
I have a shocking suggestion. He destroyed them believing they would be damaging to him, just as he attempted to destroy our country understanding that it's continued existence would be damaging to him. Doesn't take a bunch of fbi superslueths to unravel that great mystery.

Proving it to a jury is the problem.

Sometimes, though I doubt that's going to be the case with president crime spree. It's already come out in the wash that he personally packed the boxes and shitcanned a lawyer for refusing to lie for him. The simple act of disappearing well known documents creating an evidentiary hole where something ought to be. By the end of this, I fully expect him to be angling -for- destruction, to avoid being buried under a prison for a sale.
The difficulty not so much in proving it to a jury, as in finding a jury that isn't so far up trumps asshole they don't give a shit, knowingly and intentionally subverting justice on the behalf of their god-king.

We are even seeing judges in that position. It's sickening.
