I will never vote Republican, no matter how badly the Democrats screw-up.  What's the alternative to this?

Voting for better/more progressive Democrats in primaries and, if they lose to a shitty corporatist moderate Dem, voting for a third-party candidate in the general election. If the third-party candidates are horrible then I guess all that's left is to vote for the shitty Democrat. But to me that's a last resort.

Also, this is exactly how they get you. "We're not Republicans, and we promise we'll do the things we told you we would do in 2008. But we really will this time!!! We promise!!"

Lmao. At a certain point you should start getting angrier at Democrats. Republicans are horrendous, you won't get any disagreement from me there. That's why it's so frustrating that Democrats are so fucking bad at their jobs. We need an actual left-wing party in this country. They should be winning every election by a landslide. The fact that they're not speaks to how horrible and corrupt the DNC is.

Averages voters are too dumb or dogmatic to consider it.  Prediction?  Pain.

Right, but of all the potential issues that impact you, the average citizen, why do you think the debt is such an important indicator? There are numerous economic issues that affect you 100x more.

First, I'm not merely thinking about myself.  Second, GDP growth and debt management helps me and everyone else, especially looking forward.  Name some economic issues that effect me more along with the rich politicians who talk about GDP/debt ratio.
