LOL ... "don't rob God of his tithes"... ? More like .. don't rob the ministers of their vacation money.

Mormons tithe at 10% PLUS any extra the Church wants for say a new temple.
Muslims are meant to tithe at 2.5% (I think,Rayaan will know) but are admonished to look after the poor widows, orphans etc. Christians are obliged to care for others. This is pretty clearly outlined in the parable of "The Good Samaritan". Although Catholics are not obliged to tithe, when I was growing up,there were heavy financial burdens on my parents from the church.MY father felt morally obliged to send his four children to Catholics schools, for which he paid fees. (the so-called 'education' was appalling, although one did get chronic Catholicism imbued by the constant use of violence upon one's person) PLUS our parish had a 'planned giving scheme' whereby you pledged a certain amount each year.
Back when we used to go to church, my parents gave $25 per week. TWENTY-FIVE FUCKING DOLLARS EVERY WEEK. 1300 annually. I weep to think of all the Barbie clothes I could have had.
That will never hold up in court...
Oh, Pat. Did you really say that "god is your financial partner?" I think I puked a bit in my mouth. And to blame the unanswered prayers because she can't afford to tithe? Wow. I wish hell did exist as there is a special seat down there for you buddy.
