Maybe. He's switched to saying that the 2020 election was "long over" by the time Fulton County and January 6 occurred, so as to argue that he wasn't acting in his private capacity as a candidate at the time, but rather as the president executing his duties to investigate fraud and election interference. He'll say anything on the spur of the moment if he thinks it will offer him a temporary advantage.

But that poll has Christie in the mix. If Haley does even a little bit better than expected in Iowa, she’ll pick up votes from both Christie and DeSantis (I don’t imagine that Christie’s supporters are going to jump to Ramaswamy).

I have a sinking feeling that it's going to be Trump and Biden again. Unless more states jump on the bandwagon of keeping Trump off the ballot (and that not be overturned) I can't see any other way for this to play out.
