So Democrats are non-fascist by definition, not according to what they do? 

So they would allow free and fair primary elections. They wouldn't conspire with social media moguls to police what we can say on line. They wouldn't lie through their teeth to justify war. They wouldn't instigate a coup in another country in order to control that country's government. They wouldn't use US intelligence officials to lie in order to influence a US election.

Well, since you say they're nice folks, maybe they'll stop doing those things.

He seems to have turned into an apologist and part time shill, for Trump and Musk's systematic dismantling of democracy in the US, to facilitate a trolley sweep of everything they can grab. 

Part of me hopes I am being overly pessimistic, and never have to say I told you so, but part of me is wondering if he is typing in one of those ghastly red MAGA hats.

It looks as though the unpopular changes Zelensky made to laws about land ownership do not allow outright purchase by foreign companies. I apologize for the error. The law does allow foreign control through more complicated financial arrangements.

The winners are still the oligarchs and foreign investors, and the losers are still the Ukrainian people.

Democrats do get one advantage from Trump ending the Ukraine war in this way.

There are some Dems and others who are SO FAR out in Cloud Cuckoo Land that they think Ukraine is winning the war, or could somehow win back the territory it has lost through military means.

Trump is just acknowledging reality, and putting an end to a ridiculous waste of lives.

But by doing it this way, the fantasists (those F-16s are going to be game-changers any day now!) can claim that Trump stopped things too early, and Zelensky would have won pretty soon if given the chance. That's silly, but not sillier than a lot of things people have believed. (US troops will be greeted with flowers in Baghdad; the Taliban will be easily defeated, etc. etc.)
