The gestapo grabbed another family from my hometown, Worcester, MA. Some neighbors were cuffed up and hauled off to their first stop on the road to hell.

The fact some people are defending this as if the government couldn't use this against them someday the government rarely restores rights that are lost

Whrn some of their stormtroopers start dying, perhaps they'll rethink their no warrants, no identity stance.

For I am involved in mankind.

Quote:If plaintiffs want an immediate universal remedy, Sauer contends, they should file a class action instead of individual cases. But many cases are ineligible for class certification under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, including all cases brought by states. Nor is there a clear mechanism for speedy emergency relief on behalf of such a class—the very relief that plaintiffs argue is essential.
Proving that point, Sauer admitted that the government might oppose class certification in this very case. He even claimed that the government did not have to follow the rulings of the federal courts of appeals. The only way to stop a Trump-administration policy once and for all—even one that has lost a dozen times in the lower courts—is a final decision on the merits by the U.S. Supreme Court.
As Justice Elena Kagan pointed out, such a rule would allow the government to win by losing. After all, the government could lose case after case in the lower courts—as it has so far in the birthright-citizenship litigation—never seek Supreme Court review, and continue to apply its policies throughout the country. Such a rule would allow all of Trump’s executive orders to go into effect in perpetuity, no matter how flagrantly unconstitutional, save only for those individuals with the capacity to file a lawsuit.

Another Leopard Story, Kid Rock Edition
Quote:The Nashville-based musician, a longtime supporter of Donald Trump, reportedly had the doors of his namesake restaurant — Kid Rock's Big A** Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse — closed, per Nashville Scene. The move came after employees without U.S. work authorization did not show up for work on Saturday, and those who did show were told to go home in order to avoid ICE detention.
“We were already understaffed because of the ICE raids throughout the weekend,” an employee of one of the three restaurants, who asked to remain anonymous, told Nashville Scene. "Then, around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, our manager came back and told anyone without legal status to go home."
The source added the restaurant grew "crazy busy, but there was no one in the kitchen to cook the food."

Quote:Former President Biden expressed gratitude Monday morning for the outpouring of support following the news of his prostate cancer diagnosis over the weekend.
“Cancer touches us all. Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places,” Biden, 82, wrote Monday morning in a post on the social media platform X, along with a photo of him, former first lady Jill Biden and their cat, Willow.
“Thank you for lifting us up with love and support.”
A Biden spokesperson confirmed on Sunday that the former president has an aggressive form of prostate cancer that was discovered Friday “after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms,” adding that it has spread to his bones.
