Excellent! How many states do you plan on giving to Russia?

At this stage negotiations should be:

1. Russian troops out of Ukraine, including Crimea.

2. Hand over Puitin and the architects of the war to the ICC for war crimes.

3. Massive compensation to Ukraine to rebuild its infrastructure.

4. Anything else I can think of that makes the Treaty of Versaille look fair in comparison.

It's not up to me.

How many men are you willing to send to their deaths?

Certainly Friedrich Merz thinks that young Ukrainian men should stop fleeing to Germany so they can stay home and die for a pointless war. He is a traditional conservative and multi-millionaire, who has served on the board of BlackRock among other groups which profit from war.

Quote:Following the relaxation of Ukrainian exit rules over the summer, the number of young Ukrainian men aged 18 to 22 entering Germany rose from 19 per week in mid-August to between 1,400 and 1,800 per week in October

Perhaps they're all going for Oktoberfest, and will report to the front lines soon. I can't imagine why they'd be reluctant to go.

Here is the web site where you can volunteer to join the Ukrainian army. It would be unfair of you to send others to die if you're not willing to go.

It might be better for you to wait until they have the corruption thing under control.

Quote:In the same phone conversation, Merz also urged Zelenskyy to sort out the country’s corruption problems as Kyiv faces the fallout of a massive scandal involving kickbacks — another development that German officials fear could undermine public support for the embattled country.

RE: Russia and Ukraine
Belacqua needs a history lesson, again. Although, it's not like he's going to remember it.

One of the reasons why Ukraine is not making a peace deal with Russia is because it is pointless. In Russia, treaties and laws are made to be broken. Just a few:

Budapest Memorandum (1994)
Friendship Treaty with Ukraine (1997)
Helsinki Final Act (1975)
UN Charter (1945)
INF Treaty (1987)
CFE Treaty (1990)
New START (2010)
Open Skies (1992)
CWC (1993)
Minsk Agreements (2014, 2015)

The other is that Putin is an insane psychopath who wants the whole of Ukraine and then the rest of Europe.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Only an idiot negotiates with someone with a track-record of breaking his agreements. You're suggesting Poland negotiate with Ribbentrop in Aug 1939.

What do you think happens to the people in those states occupied by russia?

Here again... it is russia who decides how many ukranians russia is going to kill.

Mobilization is 25 and up. In the shittiest timeline, the one where helpful idiots keep insisting that ukraine ought to agree to let russia kill ukranians so it stops killing ukrainians, they'll have a few more oktoberfests to enjoy before it's their turn to be killed by russia. In a better timeline where the world finally pulls it's head out of it's ass and stops listening to those helpful idiots.....

Negotiating with rogue, mass murdering state is pointless. ruᛋᛋia should be treated like nazi Germany was and perhaps something approaching civilized state would be born there (though I have my doubts).

Fucking appeasement lives on.

So long as russia believes that it's reflexive control campaign is working outside of ukraine, they're going to keep flinging glide bombs at maternity wards inside ukraine. Appeasement is a dead issue in ukraine itself, as they already tried that in 2014 and here they are today. Most ukranians actually would prefer a quick negotiated end to the war, this according to recent polling which observed the shift. They'd make a deal, russia will not.

Praise the Lord.

Absolutely none. By some strange coincidence, that's exactly the number of men that I've sent to their deaths. Why? How many deaths are you willing to accept for cowardice, incompetence, and greed?

BTW, this line is fucking hilarious coming from American conservatives.

Quote:Certainly Friedrich Merz...

Oh gods NO!!!  Panic  Panic  Panic  A conservative that I've never heard of shares a single facet of an opinion that I have!!!  Panic  Panic  Panic  I must go forth and throw myself on my sword!  Panic  Panic  Panic  Completely spurious bullshit.

Let me put this simply: When Putin invades the USA, how many states do you plan on giving him? How many of your men will you send to their deaths then? Strange how the mathematics changes with geography.
