Yeah, I really don't like how outside parties, especially where there is an incestuous relationship, talking about how to divvy up what doesn't belong to them in the first place. Not surprised. I am ashamed of/for the US in the current situation, both here and abroad.

It goes back to @Belacqua 's comment that Trump would force peace on Ukraine. It's a dumb idea because you can't force anyone to surrender until they themselves feel the costs outweigh the benefits. Ukrainians are largely against the current "peace plan", in my opinion because they feel it's one cooked up between DC and Moscow and then being foisted upon them.

Exactly that. If Ukrainian soldiery felt that way, the war would have ended long ago. History is check-to-jowl with examples of people with munitions expressing their displeasure with governments in a variety of noisy ways.
