God created life with the appearance of having evolved

But it was actually created in its present state. Prove me wrong.
It's not like anyone has ever observed with their own eyes life evolving from a single-celled organism into a human. People merely assume that it has because they have witnessed evolution on a small scale. So, for all one knows, God could have just created it with the appearance of it having been so.

Why would I want to prove you wrong? If you're comfortable positing a trickster god I'm comfortable letting you posit a trickster god. It's a popular archetype. I don't believe in gods whether they're trickster gods or not, myself.

Prove yourself right, beginning with why your chosen Bronze Age Canaanite deity is the right one.
On the flip side, there are some serious theological implications to a god that perpetrates a fraud this massive.
