Today, I woke up early from my day sleep because I dreamt that I came downstairs for breakfast and Tony Curtis was in my kitchen baking cupcakes for Jaime Lee’s birthday party.

I recently dreamed that Barack Obama was having lemonde with me on my screened-in front porch (which I do not have), commenting on the fashion sense of passers-by (I don't have fashion sense either).

I seldom remember dreams, but a few months ago I had a very vivid and seemingly long dream. In the dream I met Grand Nudger and his wife and kids. It was a very detailed dream except that I didn't ever find out how I ended up at his house. It was a nice visit regardless and I enjoyed it quite a lot.

My dreams can be very weird. There have been several times when I woke up and immediately started laughing my ass off because my dream was so absurd. I rarely remember much detail from dreams but a few have stuck over the years.

Back in 1986, I was at my first duty station in the Air Force. I was an electronics technician, working mostly on air traffic radios and systems. I dreamt that there was a stubborn problem in the control tower and we figured out that it was caused by a ghost haunting it The only way to get rid of it was for me to have sex with one of the new controllers who had been recently assigned. The part that stuck in my memory was me and her walking arm-in-arm down an aisle like a wedding. On both sides were my buddies from tech school from which I had graduated about six moths earlier. They were cheering me on in a loud and crude way:

Yeah, do her good, Dave!
Do her hard!
Screw her!
Fuck her!

I never mentioned the dream to the controller. I can't imagine any good would have come of it.

There was another one in 1995, several months after I separated from the Air Force. I was in Guam and working as a scuba instructor for Japanese tourists. I dreamt I was in a hospital for some reason and I was asking questions to a receptionist. After one of my questions, she said I would have to see the President of Tits and Ass. I vividly remember an office made entirely of glass and the title, President of Tits and Ass in ornate, gold lettering. Sitting inside was one of my fellow instructors, wearing a tuxedo and puffing on a cigar. He had an incredibly smug and arrogant expression on his face. That was over 30 years ago and I can still see it in my mind, plain as day.

I once dreamt I was in an episode of The A-Team. It was very vibrant and real but the details have faded. In another dream, I was on the bridge of the Enterprise with The Next Generation Crew. They had discovered a ringed planet and the ring was made of human feces. For some reason, Data had a thick beard and was wearing a heavy lumberjack coat. He sang in a very deep voice:

Turds in space, turds in space
Must be the work of the human race...

There were other words but that's all I remember.

I don't have any recollection of any recent dreams. I generally don't remember dreams.

Just dreamt that I was in Paris and the Eiffel Tower was made of human bones.

Make a liar out of me. I had two dreams last night. The first was college dorms having an inter-dorm fight. Their weapon of last resort was razor blades. Our weapon of last resort was folding chairs.

I don't remember the second one.

That reminds me of a dream I had back in the early 1980s about a Mormon temple in Kensington, Maryland. It is a spectacular sight from the Capitol Beltway around Washington D.C. I used to drive by it every day on my way to work. I dreamt that me and some others scaled it at night using ropes and grappling hooks. When we got to the top and looked down inside it, we discovered it contained the fully-stacked space shuttle.

A rabbi came to the house and offered to trade me a chocolate bar for our lawn mower.

The only dreams I can remember involve rain or water; I don't know what to make of that.
