Donald Trump has admitted that Republicans are facing a midterm wipe-out but is already blaming it on voters’ anger with his party, rather than himself personally.

Trump, 80, will not appear on any ballot on Nov. 3, when Republicans defend narrow majorities in both the House and Senate. The party surrendered the House in 2018 and won it back by a sliver four years later.

Trump aired his worries in an interview with Punchbowl News, published Friday. He questioned whether the coalition that carried him back to the White House would turn out for anybody else. “The question is, will they vote?” he said, before supplying his own answer: “They’re angry at Republicans, but they’re not angry at me.”

He told the outlet he would press his supporters to show up. Making them actually do it, he said, is “the one thing I can’t do.” He acknowledged the scale of their grievances during his second administration, but denied again he had anything to do with it, saying “a lot of them are very angry at Republicans.”

After claiming (lying) that there is no shortage of weapons, Trump now claims that there is a shortage of weapons but that it's Biden's fault.

President Trump thinks that a decision Joe Biden made two years ago is the reason for the U.S. munitions shortage—not his costly and unpopular war on Iran.

“They talk about munitions—and we’re fine with munitions, we’re fine. But the reason it would be lower—and we’re building them like crazy—but the reason it’s low is [Joe Biden] gave three hundred billion dollars worth to Ukraine,” Trump said on the Real America’s Voice network Tuesday morning.

Good thing he didn't blame Franklin Roosevelt for the depletion of weapons.

A federal judge in Boston on Thursday dismissed an antisemitism lawsuit against Harvard University, dealing a blow to the Trump administration’s efforts to force the university into a settlement.

Judge Richard G. Stearns of the U.S. District Court in Massachusetts granted Harvard’s motion to throw out the case, saying the antisemitic incidents cited in the administration’s March lawsuit were “too isolated and episodic” to show that Harvard is out of compliance with the law.
