I'm stating that it's best for a child to be raised with both a father and a mother, in a proper family, and I really don't know what actually sounds wrong in my statement.

I don't think anyone has a problem with "traditional families". The point is that as long as a child has at least one parent that loves and cares for them, it's better than a mother and a father who don't. I am reading more and more every day about how successful homosexuals have been at parenting. I am both mother and father to my children, and they never want for anything. It's all about love, really. If a person loves their child, they'll get what their child needs by any means necessary.

children have certain financial emotional and social needs. It is easier to manage them when there are two people contributing but it is not impossible to manage as a single parent. It is rather rare that someone ends up as a single parent because of a wonderful positive situation. We should be helping single parents and rewarding them for doing them best, when they do their best, not punishing them for trying
