If God made everything, including me, then he also made my mind and how I think
Why would he make me this way, why make me so I cannot believe? Question - DID YOU HAVE parents? I did No matter how they seemed - neither of them were gods. But they did provably MAKE me. I can without doubt say I was NOT made by a god.
Religion - God's test to see if you're stupid enough to believe it or smart enough to avoid it.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan
Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity. Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist. You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them. Parents would never demand your love on the threat that they would otherwise pour gasoline all over you and set you on fire.

: True Christian is a Trademark of the Landover Baptist Church. I have no affiliation with this fine group of True Christians because I can't afford their tithing requirements but would like to be. Maybe someday the Lord will bless me with enough riches that I am able to. And for the lovers of Poe, here's your winking smiley:

Parents would never demand your love on the threat that they would otherwise pour gasoline all over you and set you on fire. THe actual comparison is that my parents really exist and made me ANd gods do not exist and make nothing (February 29, 2012 at 12:16 pm)Chuff Wrote: If God made everything, including me, then he also made my mind and how I think What makes you think God made unbelievers? If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. - J.R.R Tolkien
Heaven is a high-altitude operation and tends to get cold. God needed an eternal fuel source to keep heaven at just the right temperature, and souls are the only things that can burn forever without being consumed. Hence, us.
What makes you think God made unbelievers? You have a choice- you choose your own path.
Actually - that is the point -we do not believe that gods made ANYONE WE can choose our own path BECAUSE there are no all knowing gods to make a requirement to do only what it already knew before we existed..
Clearly some pagan trickster god created me just to spite the fucking christians.
