The same sex pressure groups do have an anti-church agenda and won't stop at same sex marriage.

(For the moment, I'm accepting the claim of an "anti-church" agenda for the sake of argument. I don't actually beleive that such a thing exists, except in some very fringe cases.)

Did you ever stop to think that (some) homosexuals might not have an anti-church "agenda" if the said church did not have an anti-homosexual agenda in the first place? (substitute "homosexual" with "atheist", "minority" or other group that's been marginalized by religion)

The moral of the story being: When you try to fuck people, don't be surprised when they fuck you back.

Do come back and whine when someone actually tries to force your church to perform a marriage (of the holy matrimony type0 for someone they would rather decline. You might actually find some of us sympathetic at that point.

Third, I don't know wtf this "undermining marriage" shit is, but if someone could please define it I would appreciate it. Considering the number of straight couple divorces going on, I don't think any one of you knows a goddamn thing about staying with another person inside a contracted union.

Undermining marriage - The term used by right wingers to fight back against civil liberties for gays. In reality gay marriage is practically non-existant in America, yet the divorce rate is well over 50% because of heterosexuals.

So marriage has already been undermined by heterosexual christians.
