You are probably correct about anxiety; im at a critical moment in my life. Graduating from a 2 yr college and going to a University. Made me realise how fast my life has been going and probably caused anxiety. RE: Help me I'm watching myself die in time/my life is going by as I blink my eyes.

There are alot of ways to deal with anxiety, you could get the help of a psychologist that is versed in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy. That's one I recommend and most of the times it requires no drugs.

I don't see our lack of existence as something to be fearful of. We won't exist, so why will it matter. Why worry about things we don't have any control over? It's not like your worrying is going to change anything. You get one shot at life pal, so make the most of it. If it so happens there is an afterlife, then what have you lost anyway? It's impossible to understand all the workings of the universe. To comprehend not existing at all is very difficult indeed, but I don't see it as something which should take over my life, because there isn't anything I can do about it either way. Exactly, what Napoleon said. Why concern yourself with what happens after you're gone? Turn your efforts and concentration to doing the best you can right now.

Not sure what kind, but I'de say from my actions I was a Garter snake or something insignificant. I was slithering through the grass hunting (it felt like head way flying, yet I still had a body that propelled me from on the ground and it was not a feeling of flying like you get from being up in a high place in a dream, I felt low to the ground and I moved through grass), traveling in and out of my burrow/home, as a snake. My perception was a snake, my form was a snake my thought process was a snake, I had always been a snake like you think right now that you have always been a human/it's your only perspective. Dude I think you were fucking high. RE: Help me I'm watching myself die in time/my life is going by as I blink my eyes.

It sounds like you have existential anxiety, though I am not qualified to say you do or you don't.
If it is totally freaking you out, see a doctor. (I say that a lot here.) RE: Help me I'm watching myself die in time/my life is going by as I blink my eyes.

Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Agreed, if its affecting your life, there's no 'shame' in asking for help.
