First extract of Richard Dawkins new book.

RE: First extract of Richard Dawkins new book.
Yes indeed Leo Big Grin

Read Richards words above EV for his opinion. Personally I'm glad because it makes me very cynical ..him making a living from a subject he's obviously so ignorant of. He's gained fame and fortune from it; fair play, way to go Richard. Back to the subject, and make use of the fame to promote real knowledge.

Sorry I meant to say "I am too." I will edit it lol. I thought the "I am" was enough to clarify because of the line following it...

Anyway..

Fr0d0....theology is a non-subject. Dawkins is ignorant about religion only in the same sense he is of the Flying Spaghetti monster....and this 'knowledge' isn't required for the same reason.

There's nothing to be ignorant about. Dawkins gives valid reasons why God is a delusion.....mostly due to the fact God almost certaintly doesn't exist...which is the centre argument of his book, in chapter 4. TGD pwnz...sorry(!)

TGD sucks balls! If you understood any theology.. and I'm not talking academic study, just a passing interest.. then you'd see how laughable RD's ideas are.

Weird post above EV. I can't block you, it's against the forum rules. I can ignore any of your comments as I wish. Sometimes I enjoy talking to you, more on MSN as you seem more rational at times, but I wouldn't block you. Like I've said to you, I like your ideas.

Oh yeah is there no block now? Was there ever one? I wouldn't know because I never use them myself on any site or chat messenger program or anything ever....

I think TGD is awesome. And since I think thelogy is a non-subject and religion is bullshit...there's nothing to be ignorant about there...

In the paperback version of TGD, which I have - Dawkins responds to the laughable accusation of being ignorant of theology. As he rightly says.... - to paraphrase - it's not as if we have to be learned in pastafarian thelogy to reject the FSM.

Theology is a non-subject. Sorry(!)

Sorry I forget stuff I haven't read in months...well, I forget stuff generally - my short-term memory is terrible. So it's not exactly that funny you telling me...

Thanks anyway lol.

That wasn't meant to be funny EV. It was in response to your strange point: "Can't have too much fun responding to fr0d0...cos he is stupid enough to not block me Tongue"

I know...

I meant it wasn't exactly funny...cos I had - thought that I'd? - implied that I found it amusing you telling me of a rule when I'm the staff here lol..

And then I said it isn't exactly that funny though cos my short term memory is just shit basically lol...

And also...that on top of the fact I haven't read that rule in months lol.
