God says that He desires none to perish, this does not sound like gloating, it is the love He has for all.

Which in no way addresses the earlier point you made about god showing them how wrong they were in their choice. Revealing the eternal consequences of that decision can be summarised as "Har! Har! I told you so!" which is not a loving thing to do.

I'm not talking about free will, stop trying to change the subject. I'm responding to your earlier claim about love triumphing over evil. How can love conquer evil when hell is eternal and the hatred and wickedness grows more intense for infinity?

Doesn't change the fact that sin, to live contrary to god's will or holy law is inevitable.

God punishes sin so how can you possibly believe that the Punisher of sin could be weaker than sin.

And the hatred of those who are punished sin again and again and again. He cannot destroy sin. Your god cannot even allow sin to be in his presence. He is weak and terrified of it and can do nothing to curb or halt its spread like wild fire through his creation.

Neither are a biblical choices, so you can rule them out. God saves all those who choose His Son through faith. God's nature is love, so there can be on evil in Him, the two are incompatible as the nature of a being.

The christian concept of heaven just baffles me more and more every day. When I was little I pictured heaven like Olympus from Hercules....Heaven is a perfect example of human fear. Even if the person does not 'fear' death, they sure as shit LOATHE the idea of rotting in the ground, so heaven is a nice little alternative that seems beyond outrageous. This thread makes the perplexity go up by at least 3 points. Yeesh.

Not at all. You will be yourself only more like you really are on the inside. Freed from the obsessions and compulsions of sin you will be more capable of helping and serving others. Loving God also means loving your neighbor as yourself. You will have infinitely many ways to serve the Lord: guiding and protecting the living and ministering to the damned in hell to minimize the harm they do to each other.
