To that I say, fuck you.

That was wholly inappropriate of you to preach religious garbage in a privately-owned business. You deserved to be thrown out by the owners of said establishment for making such a stupid scene, for disturbing the peace and for disturbing the *other customers*.

Don't like it when Christians fight back, to bad, I belong to God's army, I will stand up for Him no matter the situation.
They were the ones who started by talking so loud everyone could hear them, they seemed to be trying to get a response, they did. I did not mention this before but since you want to make a big deal of it, the other customers were glad I stood up to those loud mouths. Could be that was what embarrassed them the most.

Yeah, fuck those loudmouthed atheist heathens, actually daring to talk about God in G-C's presence! Bring back the Inquisition, that's what I say! Then they won't arrogantly go around shoving their non-belief down the throats those poor martyrs who only want to spread a little of God's love to people who thought they were in for a quiet evening of eating a meal with their friends.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

No you do not, and no you will not Christian. According to your own Bible's teachings, you are no solider in god's army. You will abide by the law. End of story.

Quote:Rom 13:1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except by God’s appointment, and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God.
Rom 13:2 So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment
Rom 13:3 (for rulers cause no fear for good conduct but for bad). Do you desire not to fear authority? Do good and you will receive its commendation,
Rom 13:4 for it is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be in fear, for it does not bear the sword in vain. It is God’s servant to administer retribution on the wrongdoer.
Rom 13:5 Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath of the authorities but also because of your conscience.
Rom 13:6 For this reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants devoted to governing.
Rom 13:7 Pay everyone what is owed: taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.

You do not get to preach in someone else's privately-run restaurant.

Doesn't change the fact that you were in the wrong. You butted into someone else's conservation you prat.

You caused the disturbance. You shot your mouth off like a fool even when they asked you to calm down, and then stormed off the premises. Oh yeah, you sure showed them didn't you?

You are a disgrace GC.

We already know you're a lunatic. We don't need anymore convincing.

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

You really make me laugh, what do those verses have to do with anything we're arguing. I'm still laughing, give a minute. OK, I did not preach to anyone in the restaurant, I confronted them on what they stated and wore out their little fannies. I made no scene, did not get excited, and the others in the restaurant seem to be happy with the outcome. The owners never said a word. If I find myself in the same situation, I will respond in like manner. They started it and I put an end to it, which I had a right in this country to do, no matter what you think, as a matter of fact seems what I did closely resembles those passages from Romans.

I was not in the wrong, what's the matter with you, do you not believe in fair play, are your buddies suppose to have special privileges, I do not think so and the laws of the land are in my favor. I caused no disturbance, it was they who were making others uncomfortable and when I finished eating my meal I put an end to their gloating. It was they who were a disgrace, they had a young Christian with them and they thought they would make an example of him, God decided differently. I was glad in this case to be called upon to serve God. You were not there, how is it you can make such a baseless assumption of my actions, such childish remarks.

I'm sorry, but where I'm from this means something hilariously different and I'm choosing to interpret it that way Big Grin Did you take turns? Or were there teams? I'm sorry.

And here I was, innocently thinking only of GC boring them to death with passage after passage, rote for rote, drawn from scripture, while the poor atheists sat there thinking, "What is this bozo going on about?"

I don't mean this disrespectfully, but I think this is the first tangible thing you have said that I have read. I'm curious when you say 'God decided' if you mean that God spoke in your head or your choice of stopping them is analogous to 'God deciding' upon something?

It would seem to be a potential issue of free will, if you look at it in that way, wouldn't it?
