Ok I to usualy watch something, like Star Wars or some other stuff which takes days to watch.

Last year watched the second season of Mad Men.

Guess there is no such thing as "christmasy" since everyone defines it for themselves.

Watching every version of Scrooge. So far I have seen Scrooged and a Muppet Christmas Carol. The Jim Carey version is next.

In all serious, I'd try and keep myself removed from real issues and focus on making my brood happy (as I'm sure your kids will pick up on the tension).


I like the book idea. Buy yourself all 14 of The Dresden Files novels. It will take up much of your time.
