New Forum: Angry Atheism

You apparently missed what passed in front of your eyes C. Kyu left because he couldn't wave the ban hammer like he wanted. Simple as that. His insults are meaningless to me. He's now created a forum where he can do that. He intends to disallow free speech when it comes to religion. If you can't see that you're more blind than I thought possible.

I am completely willing to entertain any point of view. I don't seek to censor peoples opinions. My stance is I question absolutely everything and if someone has a good argument I will change my mind accordingly. I don't see how I cannot. In contrast Kyu declares that his position is set and he will never change his mind.

Well, there are reasons that I do not trust myself driving a car... But I don't think I missed anything. If you do: please cite what I missed.

I checked out your link. I've been on Kyu's forum since it launched.

I have already changed my mind about being a Christian, I've only just, in the last couple of years, taken it up again. I grew up much the same as you, except my family isn't religious. My parents were both atheists. I didn't get it at all, and decided in my late teens that It was all tosh. In my late twenties I got to consider it critically and decided to believe. 10ish years later I became an atheist again.

Your accusations are hollow. I try very hard to consider all points of view and not to be grounded in any. I've just said, if convincing facts were to appear I'd change my mind.
