It strikes me AA is an alternative for AF members who can't face up to the fact of the irrationality of their ideas, hence they need to go to a place where, the ethos of the founder is to ban anyone who disagrees.

New Forum: Angry Atheism

Precisely VOID - we know that's the best rational argument you can come up with. You can say such things and back them up with mindless tosh on AA. Here your freedom to insult and discriminate is limited. Personally I prefer rationality over your thuggish threats.
And you, fr0d0... like to say I'm wrong, without giving any reason why... but often telling me it is obvious?
Doesn't tally to me... and sounds a tad hypocritical... Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam

I don't have time at the second to dig out facts on human sexuality, please forgive me. Otherwise the Christian position has been thoroughly addressed here. The atheist position, despite the vast majority of members here holding it, fails to present any coherent reasoning for that position. I don't need to add proof for that, it's already here. And Kyu left here because, as I said above, he couldn't face not being able to ban people because they disagreed with him. Kyu will not accept opposition to his beliefs. Fact.
I didn't dig out the facts just because I have the time... and I did not dig them out just a moment ago. I have little to forgive you of honestly, and absolutely nothing in relation to human sexuality
Sure he does. I'm an existentialist... he is not. That is a direct opposition to his beliefs. However, I highly doubt that Kyu will accept what he perceives as stupid opposition to his beliefs. Anyway, you may see the atheistical position as ridiculous and under-represented... but you must also understand that atheists see your religion as ridiculous and under-represented. It's good to be aware of these facts Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam

No shit. But allowing someone to hold that belief is what I'd uphold as civilised and something I'd want to support - certainly not the opposite. I'd want you to be free to represent your beliefs not censor them.
??? Allowing a serial rapist to hold the belief that he is doing 'god's work... is not something I would like to support. I think Kyu would let you hold your belief (can't speak for him of course)... but that he would strive to convince you that it is wrong.
I'm not aware of Kyu trying to censor any beliefs... http://community.angryatheism.org/viewto...?f=34&t=73 might help you understand. Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam

Kyu left here and formed the new forum because he believed he should be able to ban me and anyone that disagreed with him for not having the same opinion as him. His fellow staff & atheists here disagreed, and Kyu refused to even discuss it, and vowed to leave if they demoted him to a normal member where he could exchange insults impartially.
I don't see why Kyu's opinion of the BMP has anything to do with it. He hides his extremist thuggery behind tenuous links with science. I don't need to visit to prove it, and I'm certainly not going to give that place the dignity of any attention.

I'm sorry... but what? o.O Although it was a bit (rather?) immature... I don't see where you came up with that conclusion. It seems to me that you took Quote: I already know that some (Ev in particular which is more than a bit ironic) don't understand why I have to do this but as far as I am concerned, being *fired*is a serious slap in the face, fairly humiliating and something I have no intention of sticking around for especially while that odious little shit Frodo dances the cock-a-hoop and gloats over his victory (enjoy it while you can you disingenuous fuck).perhaps a little too personally. He was referring to his dignity when he left (which I think was a valid point)... although I do think that his pride went a little too far when he decided to leave just because he was demoted to what i consider to be a very respectable, and much more personal position (retired staff) (which is another valid point imo). It's your choice wether you want to check it out or not, fr0d0. But as I did present evidence above, that Kyu is more than willing to hear the words of those he disagrees with: It is a bit disappointing that you are not willing to give it a look... and very hypocritical that you are declaring Kyu to posses that fault, while you are really little different (if at all) in that aspect. I'm just trying to be fair, fr0d0. Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
