It's entirely possible that you've mistaken a lack of opportunity for a resistance to temptation.

Well, if I want a mouthful of someone else's words, I know who to respond to around here.
Abstinence is 100% effective at stopping HIV spread through sexual intercourse. It is a perfect solution, in theory. That is not the issue. The issue is that mass abstinence is contrary to human nature and it will never work in practice, and it is a waste of time for the most part because the church also preaches against any sort of protection for those who choose not to turn into sexless robots. The best thing to do would be to promote both, even though it would be another humiliating concession of religion to practical reality.

In recent news, it has been reported that God gave a newborn baby Aids, but was later cured by a human doctor, named Dr. Gay. The same technique has been used in France to cure 14 others.
The doctors who overturned God's desire to kill the newborn are hopeful that this cure will save many more of His victims, many of whom are innocents.
A summons for His arrest has so far resulting in His fleeing the Universe...
