A man enters the hospital and wants to be cured of an incurable disease. The doctors do everything they can, and eventually he is cured. The man and his family thank god.
Thanking god would be illogical because god had nothing to do with it. The doctors did all the work to save the man's life.

You admit that your evidence is insufficient to prove your claim, and you demand a rebuttal?
You rebut yourself.
P.S. I never claimed any such thing, asshole.

Quote:Mr Infidel I have $1000 dollars in the bank. If you can produce a single logical argument that shows how miracles are impossible, I will give it to you. I know that you aren't going to respond, because you don't know how to do real logic, but I promise I will give it to you, if you can demonstrate how miracles are incompatible with logic.
Please try. Please. I love you and I want desperately to see how brainwashed you are by atheism. Please just try, even for my sake.
You weren't jokin Infidel.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

It means the opposite of what you think it means, because you have a preconceived notion of what it already means that will automatically contradict any type of reason.

That's a black and white question, just saying.

No.
However, I do notice you're moving the goalposts.

I have a textbook philosophical definition of the word because I studied formal logic in college. I got almost straight A's in college philosophy classes. That was about 7 years ago. I am not saying that to brag, I am just pointing out that when you use the term logical, it isn't in any standard sense of the term.
When you use the term logical, it is almost like you are equating the word with a value judgement. But logic isn't really a value judgement, it is mathematical relationships that create formally valid statements that flow from premises to conclusion.
I am just pointing this out to help you realize that you don't have any understanding of the philosophy of religion, which is the field of study which seeks to understand whether God exists, or theology, which is the science of God. I am not saying this to insult you, I just want you to realize that the statements that you make about religion do not demonstrate, that is, the conclusions of the statements are not evident from the deductive reasoning (that is, the reasoning is deduced, it flows, from self evident statements to conclusions).
What I am trying to say is, you aren't arguing any points at all. You are just repeating atheist propaganda.

See if you can get your money back, because man, they ripped you off.
