What did that god want before mutual love was invented in the 18th century?

I understand there are some atheists that are well adjusted 47 year olds who don't drink or party and whose atheism is purely a result of reading and understand a lot of books about religion (whether they understood them fully, I do not think they did). I apologize for including them in my view of atheism.
...
I am a 67 year old and more or less life long atheist who has had three heart attacks in the last six months. Well adjusted is defined by me not judged by youngsters. I am here. Talk to me in twenty years.
Been there, done that, died three times. Do you have any questions?

here is from quran what God want from us
" And We have enjoined on man (to be good) to his parents: in travail upon travail did his mother bear him, and in years twain was his weaning: (hear the command), "Show gratitude to Me and to thy parents: to Me is (thy final) Goal." (Quran 31:14)
"...Worship none but Allah; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practice regular charity..." (Quran 2:83)
17:23 Your Lord has commanded that you should worship none but Him, and that you be kind to your parents. If either or both of them reach old age with you, say no word that shows impatience with them, and do not be harsh with them, but speak to them respectfully
24 and lower your wing in humility towards them in kindness and say, ‘Lord, have mercy on them, just as they cared for me when I was little.’

You mean you really want it to stop sending heart attacks? Or are you still in the "bad is from Satan, good is from God" mentality of a child?

Or do you think God really wants you to eventually stand up to him and stand up for what you think is right?
I cannot and never could imagine a God who wants only sycophantic rule followers. Of what possible value would that be to such a one? If God really were anyone you should want to spend eternity with, He should first of all be someone you can respect. Can anyone of any religion explain this to me?
sure, I am not sure who is delusional here.
I never heard a thiest put it like this.

"Zeno's paradox proves that nothing moves. These guys are so uneducated, they don't realize that Zeno proved 2,500 years ago that nothing moves. What a bunch of idiots."
I remember my second day in philosophy when my professor gave us the assignment to show the error in this paradox, his hint to us was that there wasn't just one error.
But, the fact that you use 2,500 year old arguments is what I would expect from someone that also operates under 200 yr old scientific assumptions which drive his beliefs.

Virtually all cultures have linked sickness to carnal living, and it is clearly true from natural consequences of actions, as well as arguably from the principles that human life consists of and its relation to God and others.
I don't think it is foolish to think that lifestyle choices effect health.

Because they were morons who didn't understand the nature of sickness. Thankfully we don't have to accept their ignorance as our own.

Hard to sense voice inflection through text. If it was there, I do apologize!
