Just so in thirty years when my grandchildren ask me, "grand-daddy, how'd you get that scar?" I can reply "Because I supported people who were being discriminated against."

Sigh.. At least you did a great deed and you'll have the scars to show it. What does my facial scar tell about me to my grandchildren? "Well, grandma got into a fight with her best friend at kindergarten, he bit her in the face and she bit him back in the arm". Not a good moral story.. Big Grin

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Given the situation, a good hyuk or two is always appreciated. Big Grin It sucked and it hurts but every time I laugh, it's a big middle finger of defiance to those assholes.

Even though it's an empty gesture from a stranger on the internet, I still offer you my condolences, Creed. It makes you wonder what century we're living in.

You know, the south gets lots of shit for its religious fuckwittery and bigotry, but I find the mid-west can be just as bad in some parts and doesn't seem to be held to the same standard. I'm not sure why.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Man, the Midwest is, in many ways, worse than the south, when ya think about it. The south at least has California. The Midwest? There ain't SHIT for civilization. Anus-backwards region.

TEENY BUNNY oh my god I just got Diabetes that was too cute. D8

When you said Towne West Mall for a minute I thought you lived here in Kansas! Then I was like, yep. That makes sense. Homophobic assholes a plenty here. Makes me miss my Denver. Sad

I'm sorry Creed you got jumped.

There is little you can do against a gang when they decide to strike other than evasion.

At that point, the stakes are either them or you.

Such an ugly worthless pack of subhuman wastes.
