Your answer is given in the question: Your god has literally SURROUNDED himself with murderers and rapists since his debut with the Hebrew. If anything, opening the doors of Heaven to all the atheists would provide a lot more non-killing, non-bigoted, forgiving type of souls in Heaven. Absolutly! IF my wife was raped and murdered by a soldier of a foreign god then I should hope that I would have been man enough to raise enough hell with this god's soldiers the this d bag god demanded an immediate audience with me. Having me arrive on the other side well before my wife and baby did. There we would have words and if this god was indeed more powerful than my god then it serves me right, and I will either fight or submit to whatever punishment he has in store for me.

Yeah..Drichlet and that issue of god sanctified murder and rape is what got me posting in these forums in the first place. Has he asked you if you'd kill someone who was raping you and your family on a weekly basis? I'm still not quite sure why weekly basis was put in there, but hey.
Btw my phones autocorrect made that nickname up and I refuse to correct it cuz its funny. Even inanimate technology doesn't take him seriously.

Frodo according to the Bible, anything god does or commands is just and good. Drich believes what the actual teachings of the Bible say, and based on the actions and commands, favorism and demands of god: if he told you to rape or smash the skulls of babies or tear them from their mothers womb: its all peachy fine and dandy.

I think we're splitting hairs over definitions. I haven't seen the origianl context, but you can see from my brief objection where I think the problem lies.

God never ever commits murder. God kills justly. He is incapable of evil. If your interpretation of his act is evil, yet the intention of the original author is different: as testified by the authors parallel description of that God as righteous and wholly good, then the onus is upon you to demonstrate the error. You don't get to state black is white without demonstrating it. That's what you want, but I require more of the subject than you do apparently.

Maybe Drich, like you, gets it wrong. Drich isn't God. He has no need to be perfect. Neither did you as a Christian.

But Frodo, what about "Do not kill"? How isn't it hypocritical of God to kill, when he denies you it? And isn't all life sacred? Why is some people better to kill than others?
