Pfft...I'll take my chances. In fact, I am so certain that hell doesn't exist, I am willing to bet my eternal soul on it.

That my friend is a really huge gamble, God says, "what good does it do for a man to gain the whole world, yet lose his soul." Seems God knows one soul is worth more than the entire world.

Well it would if it was true and not just a silly story.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

It's not a gamble to bet something that doesn't exist.

Regardless, if my soul is worth so much, why would god send it to hell simply for not believing?

God does not send you to hell for not believing, one goes to hell for unrepentant sin. By the way it is you who chooses your finial place in eternity.

Seriously, I'm tired of hearing people mentioning things over and over and hearing you (theists not just you) repeat the same argument over and over.

If you believe we were put here to make our choice of eternal life or death, then why and how could he possibly take that choice away from unborns and children whom he considered innocent? Where did they go and won't they be pissed when they find out they didn't get to decide for themselves either way?
Or..
Do you deny that god took the choice away when he created us with a predestined path? He knew where we were going in the end with our choice to "repent sin" or not, he knew every choice and counted every hair on our heads (supposedly) since before we were conceived. Therefore we were created when he made us, to go to hell. The majority of us.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

If you want to hear different things then jump up and make new statements, we get tired of having to repeat the same things. If you would listen once in a while instead of telling us what we're suppose to believe we might not have to repeat things, when one has to repeat ones self generally means the others do not care to learn anything. With that said and the way things go around here I expect to be repeating the same things for a long time, how unfortunate.
The unborn and children up to a certain age will be in heaven and because they have not been vile they will welcome their finial destination.
Let me repeat myself once again, hopefully this time it will stick, foreknowledge has nothing to do with predestination, I mean really is it so hard to understand, NO. You guys just want things to argue about knowing you're wrong, I for one do not believe you guys could be that stupid, at least I hope not.

I never thought that it was actually possible to hate somebody posting on the internet. But godschild, I hate you, and I really, really, really mean it, you absolute fucking testicle.

Here's how it'll end for you - you'll die, and nothing will happen. MASSIVE shame.

So, according to you it would be better if all the unborn kids got aborted because then they would be guaranteed a place in heaven. So what is with all the "Right to Life" crap?Tongue

Wow. It's a good thing God doesn't exist, because with thoughts like that you'd go straight to hell.

Haughtiness (pride) is a sin, godschild. Didn't you know? Oh well carry on.
So babies get to forego the choice do they? We are all innocents born and then at what point do you assert that Adam and Eve's curse kicks in? Imagine how jilted you would feel.. having that Ultimate choice made for you? Finding out that all those who did have that experience got to earn their rewards and places of authority in heaven and you're just sitting in a corner not having witnessed life or gods authority at all, you just woke up one day with the knowledge that you must eternally praise god? Then you find out that god ordered you ripped from your mothers womb just to prevent you from choosing yourself and she's in hell. The one woman who actually died for you is in eternal torment for a finite crime. Seems highly suspect if gods aiming for eternal
peace, for him to allow infinite non choosers.
