I guess the real question should be, "What are you going to do when Israel and Iran begin to detonate their nuclear arsenals?" Then it's going to become a domino effect. You know darn well America is just waiting to press the "Big one." And Russia and China are ready for the big showdown. And believe me when I say this.. There is a reason why Jordan, Pakistan and North Korea have re-activated their nuclear facilities. They foresee a huge event unfolding. If you can't see it, then you better start paying attention to CNN and FOX News. This is all further proof that the world is eventually going to burn up as foretold in the Bible.

Nuclear energy does not equal Nuclear bomb. Nuclear energy is an extremely efficient and relatively safe (unless you screw things up) way of powering things.

You made me chuckle Adrian, but I must say you are rather 'trusting'. I'm rather nervous of Middle Eastern nations getting hold of nuclear weapons. It's very volatile over there and has even greater fundamentalist influences than the 'Christian' nations.

Which is why I'm against all kinds of WMDs. Countries like the UK, Russia, and the USA are constantly telling people not to get WMDs whilst hiding their own. This hypocritical behaviour cannot continue if we are going to advance as a global community.

If I had my way, we wouldn't have guns / bombs / weapons of any kind. It's a sickening situation we've got ourselves into.

I agree with that, but we have got these WMDs. We can't uninvent them. It's a real problem. It's no surprise that this verse seems really appealing to me: 'He shall judge between the nations and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword (or WMD?) against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.' Isa 2:4. It may be pie in the sky but it's something we seem to agree to aspire to?
