Oh come now Brian. Not every page. What about the genealogies? Dull but morally neutral and scientifically plausible.

No one cares if it's contaminated, even if that may be the case. If it's not in the same form that it was when it was first penned, that's a non issue, because the words it says now and the words it probably said then are still so full of shit that it's a wonder Christians aren't seeing brown.

I'm curious.
If it's not true then why should I believe God is real? Why would you believe the OT over The NT.

Who said history is true, most of ancient history is assumption from little evidence.

We're guided by God and see the truth of scriptures, at least those who will accept the truth, regardless as to what we think of it.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

GC, What you think has everything to do with your view of the Bible, not regardless of it. You think it's a good idea to follow the tenets of Yahweh, so you do. You don't get to play the "mindless drone" card because you have the ability to choose whether or not what you're hearing from Christianity is what you want to adhere to.

Of course, we do. You have fallen within the same self-delusion where all theists reside.

That's not an answer! C'mon GC, I KNOW you can do better than that. You obviously believe in the bible. What made you decide to believe that what it says is true? What's the process that led you to the conclusion that it's report of God is accurate?

Serious question to both GC and Jacob:
Do you guys believe that either the NT or the OT are somehow more accurate word of God than the other? If so, then why?
