As I understand it, they have a new version of the NWT that they released recently. LOL.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

So, I really don't give a rat's ass if you think god is punishing us because rib-woman took a bite from the wrong tree. But when dickheads like the xtian right try to force their bullshit on everyone else THEN I have a problem.

This place is just for fun. The real battle is out in the streets.

I'm with you all the way there! It's downright scary that almost half of Americans believe in creationism and downright sinister that people people pushing for that to be taught in schools.

My question then would be this. If you don't give a rats arse what people believe (so long as it's not foisted on you), then why waste the energy on tackling the belief itself? It's the pushing of said belief which us the problem, and I'd be with you on the picket lines for that one.

Ah...see if you scroll up to the top of the site you will see that it says ATHEIST FORUMS. I am here. I do not visit jesus or allah freak sites and tell them that they are wrong about their silly god beliefs. However, when they come here and start sprinkling god shit on the carpet I do get a tad riled. Once that riling happens it katy-bar-the-door.

I'm hard-pressed to think of a more grating and depressing experience than being stuck in a room while a JW and a Southern Baptist squabble over whose version of ancient myth is "true."

There's a limit to the amount of horseshit I can ingest in a single sitting.

I do not argue with them, I either politely allow them to give their speech, or tell them I'm not interested and leave it at that.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

A quote very indicative of someone who believes that women are inferior creatures who have no business doing anything that doesn't involve making babies or cleaning kitchens. What a piece of shit.

Look who's speaking, Mr. Judgmental.

So you admit that you jumped to conclusions without evidence?
