Fifty Questions That Christians Can't Answer

If you didn't get it, I was being facet-fucking-itious. You don't see that not only did a number of people not agree with the original 50 questions, but most of the questions are presented with logical fallacies and makes false assumptions. That having been the case, you see a Christian answering in a way that tickles your pickle and you jump on it like a dog on a three legged cat.

I'm still trying to figure out of he actually meant "flood" as in global flood of Noah's time. I also don't agree with many of the points he made, but he made fucking 50 of them, and it would waste less resources to just poke fun at something I find comical. The comment on religion being a way to live life is complete idiocy, because you'd have to forget the past 3000 years of world history to make such a bold faced claim.

It's like me saying Nazi Germany, as with all totalitarian regimes, is a guide on how to appreciate your country.

I also find it funny that you can't seem to spell my name right. If it's a joke, it isn't funny (not offensive, just stupid).

Not when God's on your side. Then the world's your oyster.

Logical fallacies need not apply when I'm trying to explain the unexplainable! Lets change the meaning of words if that's not what I "mean"! My logical conclusion comes from illogical actions, but it's OK because I call it faith, and my belief system would be nothing without it! Taverish is a fool and never was a true Christian!

Epic post! Epic post!

I guess if you weren't interested in finding something more than just what is right in front of you then you could smile for a while. Religion is meant to be a way to guide people to happiness. No doubt it is used on a daily basis to make money and control the masses. If you had actually bothered to read, you would have noticed I agree with that... and a lot more.

Its okay, though, I didn't really post it for you hardcore "lalalala I'm not listening" types... Its for those people who come looking for real answers and only get hostility... they'll see that there is someone there who actually sees both sides, but is still a God-fearing man.

Please answer my question about the flood.

Thanks.

No need. If you think that's an event in history, then there's nothing really much I can say to you that hasn't been said by modern science.

The best I can say is read a biology book.

Good luck. It's going to be a bumpy ride.

666 posts? That's badass.

Anyway,
Quote:Religions are to make money for the priest class who convince the ignorant that "they" know the truth. All religions are the same. They are about control.
Uh huh. I'll give you that one for the current state of Islam in some middle eastern countries, and the Roman Catholic Church in the Middle Ages, but really? All religions? I don't think you realize how silly it is to claim that.

Name one accomplished religion practiced that doesn't have a hierarchy in which its leaders attempt to harness social, political and economic control.

A theocracy is any religion's biggest aspiration.

That's not an answer. If tav is blinded and just hates people, prove that the comment is foolish by naming off a huge list of religions that don't behave in the way that tav claims they do.

Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism, Hinduism (except for a few radical movements), Sikhism, Jainism, many African traditional religions, tribal religions, pretty much all folk religions actually, Shintoism, Zoroastrianism (arguable, since at one point they were powerful), Cheondoism, Tenrikyo, Unitarian Universalism, most forms of Judaism (though in the extremely orthodox movements there are a few very powerful people)...
