I seem to be the same way. I'm fascinated by all these places in the world that are searingly hot...except for their searing heat. Melbourne looks beautiful. But wicked hot. Death Valley has gorgeous landscape, but....

And I'm headed on a cruise this March. Not sure how that's going to go. I thought the Caribbean was supposed to be hot as well.

But it's like the heat is what makes these places so dam striking.

Melbourne, Australia isn't THAT hot. Most of the time it is four seasons in 24 hours, Tasmania is nice and probably what you are accustomed too?

Perth is hot and Darwin, Australia is either fucking bloody hot and humid or fucking bloody hot and wet and humid.

Agree though, humidity is the killer...went to Sydney on a very humid weekend (after living with Perth's dry heat) and totally understood how fish feel. Undecided
